  • Join us to talk about stamps and everything else. You’re welcome to bring your collection (or parts of your collection) to admire or share if you’d like. We welcome everyone and would enjoy having new members in the group. No need to be an expert. We don’t claim to be!

  • Join in the fun with this tile-based word game. Play your tiles creatively to rack up as many points as you can. This gathering of gamers is casual and welcoming.

  • Come out and play this fast-paced and strategic card game. Prior knowledge of the game is preferred so that you can join right in. This is a fun and friendly atmosphere. There is a $1 buy in for the afternoon. We will play for a small prize and have a great time while we do it!

  • This tile-based game was developed in China but has spread in popularity throughout the world. It is a game of skill, strategy, and luck, sure to be fun for all! If you’re new to this game, we can help you learn. We play the American version.

  • Come join our group to share your epic adventure stories from your hunting and fishing experiences. Make some new friends who enjoy some of the same activities that you do.

  • Join our avid readers to engage in conversation about the book of the month and take part in voting which book to read next month. Books are provided by the Indian Valley Library and can be checked out at the SPARK Harleysville front desk. Call or stop by the front desk to inquire about the current book selection or to reserve your copy of the book.

Come join us for a relaxing time to socialize and put our minds at ease while we create colorful masterpieces together. All supplies provided. Plenty of options are available with larger pictures for those with sight issues.

  • This game combines luck and strategy, with players placing tiles in sets onto the table in an effort to play every tile in their rack. It’s anyone’s game until the very end, so don’t count yourself out early! All skill levels welcome.

  • This 4 person, trick-based card game is a fun way to spend the afternoon. Will your team get the high score? As this can be a complicated game, experience playing Bridge is preferred. But if you’re eager to learn, we can set you up with a buddy to help teach you as they play.

  • This fun and addictive card game can be played by anyone! Be the first one to play all of your cards and you win! This game is fast paced and easy to learn.

If you don’t know how to play, don’t worry we will teach you! Cards are provided.

Each month there will be a topic such as “Vacation Memories,” “Siblings and Stories from Growing Up," “Holiday Traditions,” “Favorite Things,” etc. Anyone is welcome to come and participate at any level that they are comfortable with. We start with the designated topic and some conversation prompts, and then we’ll see where our discussion takes us! Call SPARK Lansdale or check out this month’s newsletter for the topic and date.

SPARK Senior Center of Lansdale also has a robust set of program offerings taught in Korean for Korean language speaking Seniors. More information on these programs can be found HERE.

Can’t make it to one of our organized game or craft times? No problem! Both Centers have ample space for self-organized game playing, coloring, puzzling, etc. We always love to see groups of our members hanging out and doing what makes them happy!
