Our movement-based classes are accessible to all fitness and mobility levels, helping you to keep your heart healthy and your mind sharp. We also offer regular wellness seminars and free blood pressure checks. See the program descriptions below for details on our regularly occurring classes, and make a plan to come try one out! Incorporate breath and movement in this gentle, whole-body practice of Yang style Tai Chi. Come as you are, with a positive energy, and leave relaxed and refreshed. This class is suitable for everyone as you work within your personal physical limitations (sitting, standing, or whatever is comfortable for you). This low impact class will increase your strength, balance, and mental well-being.

Work on your strength, balance, and stretching in this all-levels fitness class. Light weights will be used, along with a chair for balance if needed.

Come move and groove with us in this fun, full-body workout. Engage your brain and your body with exercises that will raise your heart rate and help you work on your coordination. Light weights and resistance bands are provided for an optional challenge and chairs are used to help with stability. Work at your own level!

Each month, community health educators from Jefferson Health discuss important health topics to promote positive aging. Topics include such things as "Balance and Fall Prevention," "Protecting your Mental Health," "Healthy Eating for Strong Cardiovascular Health," and more.

Fit for the Future is a strength training program with balance training components. The class is designed to increase lower body strength, upper body strength, core strength, and flexibility, as well as improve the balance and mobility of all participants. You may sit or stand as needed throughout class. Light weights are provided. Dress in comfortable clothing. This class requires a physican’s fitness referal form. Find out how yoga fits YOUR body! Wellness yoga considers more than the pose. We explore our body and breath and expand our knowledge and compassion. Yoga is more than fitness and form; it is function, focus, and feeling good. Wellness yoga makes total wellness the philosophy. Please bring a mat and water with you to class.

No mat is needed. No standing is necessary. Modifications are available for any mobility constraints you may have. Consider taking a chance to improve your overall health with chair yoga.
